I recently did a nice little luxury purchase for myself and got a bolt action pen, since function is my idea of luxury, I guess. I was excited enough to get some pentel energel refills for myself before the pen even came. Already loving it, except when I try putting in refills for the pen in, the tip ends up wobbling. It's most pronounced on the energel refills, which is disappointing, since basically everywhere these bolt action pens are talked about at least one person recommends using them. I dug up a few older cheaper pens to try out their refills, and every rollerball refill I've tried has some amount of give. The refill that doesn't wobble is the one that came with the pen, the Parker style Schmidt. I don't think I have any other Parker styles to try out, but I assume they'd be OK...
Basically, do I have to DIY all my rollerball refills with tape so that they don't wobble? I can't find anything about this online, so I thought that maybe my pen has some sort of defect to it. Again, nothing online mentioning this about the pen that I could find, so I'm a bit lost. Any insight would be much appreciated.
